Operational expectations
- Treat 429 and 503 as recoverable with bounded backoff; do not retry malformed, unauthorized or forbidden requests.
- Persist idempotency and webhook event evidence so a delivery retry cannot duplicate partner-side side effects.
- Use the owner API Control Center to rotate/revoke a credential or pause an endpoint during an incident.

Contact platform support with the environment, endpoint, UTC time, status code and X-Request-Id. Do not submit credentials, signing secrets, full webhook payloads or customer contacts.
